Brianna Piccari Receives Honors for Web Design

Brianna Piccari, of Millersville, Pa., a junior art and design student at Millersville University of Pennslyvania, received an honorable mention award in Brian Miller's Above the Fold contest for web designs. Piccari received honorable mention for her website designed to promote College Radio Day on October 2, 2012.

The Above the Fold Student Design Competition was born from the best-selling book on Web design titled Above the Fold by Brian Miller. This one-of-a-kind competition seeks to honor the best Web, motion and interactive designs. More than 125 entries from 16 institutions were submitted from students around the world. All winning entries are featured in the Above the Fold Awards gallery both online,www.awards.abovethefoldbook.com/winners, and on the iPad app. Honorable mentions received at least two votes for Best in Show from the judges - the winner of Best in Show was the only piece to receive four out of five votes.
