Kelly Kardos Receives 2012 MEDAL (Millersville Employees Dedicated to the Advancement of Learning) award to Attend Millersville University

Kelly C. Kardos, of Pottstown, Pa., has been selected to receive the 2012 MEDAL (Millersville Employees Dedicated to the Advancement of Learning) award. Kardos will graduate from Owen J. Roberts High School and will attend Millersville University of Pennsylvania this fall to study mathematics education.

Kardos completed a traditional college preparatory curriculum in high school that included several courses at an Honors or Advanced Placement (AP) level, including Honors level Spanish II, III and IV, English, algebra II, pre-calculus, earth science, biology, chemistry, western civilization, 20th Century American history and US government/economics and AP level Spanish language, English Language, English literature, and calculus. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and a Student of the Month.
