Kristina Suter Receives Honors from Millersville University

Kristina N. Suter, of Strasburg, Pa., was recognized during Millersville University of Pennsylvania's Honors and Awards Convocation on April 28, 2012.

Suter, a graduate student at Millersville University, received the Dr. Joyce Scout Smedley and William E. Smedley Scholarship in Memory of Arthur and Anna Scout and William P. and Mary Kathryn Smedley. This scholarship is awarded to a graduate student in the School Counseling Program. The scholarship is to be primarily merit based, with consideration of financial need, for graduate students who have demonstrated potential as a school counselor. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four additional semesters upon recommendation of the School Counseling faculty.

Millersville University's annual Honors and Awards Convocation recognizes faculty, students and alumni for their accomplishments and dedication to the University. During this year's ceremony, nearly 900 students were recognized with awards and scholarships for their academic accomplishments including impressive grade-point-averages, departmental awards for excellence in an academic major, community involvement and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference scholar athletes.
